BELCHICK – Richard Michael, 81, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2019 at home. Born April 27, 1938 in Pine Twp, son of the late Michael E. and Susan Ella (Kolvchosky) Belchick. Preceded in death by son-in-law, William G. Smith. Survived by children: Richard James and fiance’ Lisa Eberhart, Ebensburg; Susan Michele (Harley) Smith-Reitmyer, Philipsburg; Lisa Marie Hare, and fiance’ Charlos Silva, Carrolltown; and grandchildren Kimberli Ann (Michael) Weirauch, Nanty Glo and Jodi Lee Eberhart, Cresson. Richard was retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Merlo, Inc., and a member of U.M.W.A. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m., Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, Rev. Tom Dishong, officiating. Interment at Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s memory may be made to his family.
