ROBBINS - John A., 66, of Ebensburg, passed away suddenly at Memorial Medical Center on July 28, 2019. Born June 20, 1953 in Pittsburgh to John A. Robbins and Barbara Basich. Preceded in death by father, John; step father, Al; and son in law, Ian Anderson. Survived by wife of 10 years, Joy; daughters, Sarah Anderson and Hayley (Tommy) Puskaric. Grandchildren: Alexander, Roman, Reese, Gavin, Sloan, and Fiona. Also survived by his mother, Barbara; brother, Scott (Judi); sister, Randi (Gary); sister in law, Thomasine (William); and numerous nieces and nephews. Formerly of Pittsburgh, John moved to Ebensburg 20 years ago to work for the DEP as a draftsman. He enjoyed being a member of Revloc Presbyterian Church, where he was active in the choir. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Pastor David O'Hara, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
