Obituary of Mabel M. Weaver

WEAVER – Mabel M., 80, of Strongstown, passed away April 29, 2020 at home. Born March 4, 1940 in Strongstown, daughter of the late Irvin and Ruby Stiles. Preceded in death by husband, Charles. Survived by sons, Dwight (Judy) Weaver and family; and Richard (Nancy) Weaver and family. Mabel worked as a seamstress at the former Nanty Glo Dress Factory for several years. She attended Western PA School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh; and was active with local deaf senior citizens. Due to public health concerns at this time, services are private. Mabel’s family suggests donation be made in her memory to: Western PA School for the Deaf, 300 Swissvale Ave., Pittsburgh, PA. 15218.
