NOREIKA - Judith A., 79, of Nanty Glo, passed away June 25, 2018. Born November 23, 1938 in Spangler, daughter of the late John W. and Josephine (Rose) Fresh. Survived by husband, Andrew, of 33 years; children, Paula (Bernie) Adams, Diane Conrad, Connie (Matt) Weekes, Thomas Breth and Johanna Campbell. Step daughters, Kathy Noreika and Pamela (Dwayne) Weekes. Grandchildren, Christopher (Vanessa), Daniel (Janel), Sheena (Justin), Colleen, Jennifer, Melissa (John), Karson, Troy, Monica, Kaitlynn, Justine, Brandy and Alexandra. 12 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by brother, John A. (Joan) Fresh; nephew, John; and great nephew, Matthew. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Democratic Lady. Former EMT with Blacklick Valley Ambulance. An avid animal activist and rescue person. She loved all of her animals, Retired from Ebensburg Center. Judy loved polkas, playing cards, bingo; and spending time with her grandkids. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc, Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, officiating. Committal to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Nanty Glo. In lieu of flowers, donation in Judy’s memory may be made to The Cambria County Humane Society, Johnstown.
