HAYMAKER - William F. "Bill," Sr., 71, Vinco, passed away Aug. 10, 2006, at home. Born April 12, 1935, in Johnstown, son of the late Thomas and Sarah (Uncapher) Haymaker. Preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Survived by wife of 51 years, the former Margaret "Peg" Gable; children, Kim (Ernest) Varner, Belsano; William Fred "Billy" Jr. (Sunant "Sue"), Arizona; Wanda (Keith) Johnson, Maryland; and Annette (Fred) Fisher, Bakerton; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Brother of Shirley Ellis, Nanty Glo, and Betty Fisher, Johnstown. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Marvin E. Lowery officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to his family.
