MOREY - Matilda "Til", 86, of Vinco, passed away June 5, 2014 at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. Born February 25, 1928 in Madera, daughter of the late John and Mary (Tutko) Mashensic. Preceded in death by sister, Barbara. Survived by husband, James, of 62 years, as of September 1st. Also survived by sister, Dorothy (Robert) Sybert; and brother, John, Jr. (Dorothy) Mashensic; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner. Retired in 1982 from the former A & P Supermarket in Ebensburg. Former member of Nanty Glo and Richland Mixed Bowling Leagues. Member of Vinco Pinochle Club for over 50 years. Til was an avid bingo player and loved to crochet afghans. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. John Vianney Church, the Very Rev. Andrew C. Stanko, VF, celebrant. Committal to follow at Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.
