RHOADES - Lola, 74, of Nicktown, went to be with the Lord April 5, 2015. Born March 25, 1941 in Colver, daughter of the late Elzie and Margaret Marsh. Preceded in death by infant brother, Clifton, brothers, Don, Rege, Ken and Lou; and sisters, Grace Putman and Betty Stiles. Survived by husband, of 53 years, Ronald Rhoades, Sr; and children, Rhonda Branick; Rae Ann (Jeff) Scanlan; and Ron, Jr. (Sherrie) Rhoades. Grandchildren, John Branick, Courtney (Adam) Lewis, Matthew and Jamie Scanlan; Brooke and Bailie Rhoades. Great Grandchildren, Josh, Matthew and Jedi; as well as brother, Raymond (Nancy) Marsh. Lola was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Geno Bartoletti, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lola s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
