WILLIAMSON – James, 86, of Nanty Glo, passed away March 6, 2018. Born July 5, 1931 in Nanty Glo, son of the late John and Louise (Jones) Williamson. Preceded in death by wife, Kay (Graham); brothers, Donald and John; infant brothers, John and Raymond; sister, Jane Heming; son in law, Melvin Roles; and granddaughter, Kelly Dixon. Survived by children, James (Pam); Debbie Roles; Robert (Kris); Cindy (Denny) Dixon; Tim; and Tom (Dolly). 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Elizabeth Hill; Henrietta Toth; and Margaret (Donald) Heming; brothers, Ed (Carol); and Dave (Val); sisters in law, Donna and Kathy Williamson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired from Bethlehem Steel. US Army veteran during the Korean War. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Rudy Sheptock, officiating. Interment, Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. Military Rite by Nanty Glo, Twin Rocks and Vintondale area Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
