SILKO - Nancy Ann, 74, of Nanty Glo, passed away Aug. 18, 2015. Born Feb. 28, 1941 in Vintondale, daughter of the late John and Mary (Kerekish) Telesko. Preceded in death by brother, George; and grandsons, Ryan and Cory Byich. Survived by children, Jim (Bill) Silko, Tom (Karie) Silko, Lisa (Jack Waldron) Byich, and Karen (Wayne) Paul. Grandchildren, P.J. and Megan Byich. Great Grandchildren, Rylan, Sydney and Greyson. Also survived by sisters, Betty (John) Kesselak and Rosemary (Jack) Gergely; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gigi enjoyed cooking and playing slot machines; and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was referred to as mom and gram by many who loved her. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc. Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Deacon James Janosik, officiating. Interment, SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Vintondale.
