SCHIRATO – Leonard Anthony, 61, of Carnesville Georgia, formerly of Nanty Glo passed away suddenly December 6, 2018 in Athens. Born December 11, 1957 in Johnstown, PA, son of the late Anthony Paul and Delores Catherine (James) Schirato. Leonard is survived by his children, Dustin Anthony and wife Nickki Schirato, Dacula, GA and Lindsay Beth Schirato of Athens, GA. Also surviving is his brother Anthony Schirato, of Nanty Glo, and sisters: Donna Shaheen, Pittsburgh, and Colleen Livingston, Lebanon, TN. He was employed as a machinist for Roper Manufacturing Center in Commerce, Georgia and was a veteran of the US Navy. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc. Nanty Glo, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Deacon Thomas Buige, officiating. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
