KUHAR - David Scott, 49, of Mifflintown, formerly of Nanty Glo, died Dec. 24, 2014 at home. Born Nov. 16, 1965 in Johnstown, son of Joseph and Jane Kuhar. Preceded in death by his brother, Joseph. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Matthew; sister, Linda (David) Russell; nieces and nephew, Amberlee, Christopher and Amanda; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Former member of St. Mary s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. David was Honorably discharged from the Army Reserves, a manager of machinists at Manley Performance in New Jersey, and was an avid Steelers and NASCAR fan who enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and working on his Chevy truck. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
