MUCHA – Evelyn Florence, 93, of Nanty Glo, passed away peacefully December 24, 2015 at Cambria Care Center. Born March 6, 1922 in Expedite, Pa., daughter of the late Fred and Anna Marie (Pasko) Mort. She is preceded in death by her husband Martin; grandchildren Sherry & Jefre Rummel, great-granddaughter Dakota Blu Cunningham, as well as three sisters and four brothers. Survived by daughter Patricia Ann (Rabel), wife of Patrick McDermott, Nanty Glo. Also survived by grandson James Rummel, Nanty Glo; great grandchildren: Brandy, Crystal, Tyler, Kody, Colt and Cade; great-great grandchildren: Chance, Skyler, Hunter & Eliana; and her brother Edward T. (Mary Ann) Mort, of Wilmington, Delaware. At her request there will be no viewing. A gathering of friends will be held at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo from 12:00 noon, December 31st, until the time of Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m., Deacon Thomas Buige, officiating.
