BYICH Cory, 29, of Nanty Glo, died December 7, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 21, 1984 in Johnstown, son of Peter B. and Lisa M. (Silko) Byich. Preceded in death by twin brother Ryan Scott Byich, maternal grandfather James Silko, and paternal grandfather Pete Byich. Survived by father, Peter and step-mother Bridget Fox, Johnstown; mother Lisa, and step-father John Waldron; wife of seven years, Lindsey Molinick, and two beautiful daughters Rylan and Sydney at home. Also survived by brother Pete Joseph PJ Byich, and sister Megan Byich; step brothers & step sisters: Deanna Bobby, Carrie Waldron, Breanna Fox, Aaron Waldron, Bradd Waldron and Corey Fox; paternal grandmother Joann Byich, maternal grandmother Nancy Silko, all of Nanty Glo; Mother-in-law and father-In-law, Stefan & Cindy Molinick, Twin Rocks, brother-in-law Brad (Justine) Molinick; nieces Aubrey & Avery Molinick; nephew Greyson Byich, and lifelong friend Joe Shandor. Cory was employed by Quality Life Services as a Supervisor. He was a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, where he lettered in football and was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Cory enjoyed playing with his kids, hunting, fishing and skiing with family. Friends will be received from 3-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at St. Mary s Church, the Rev. Fr. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal at St. Mary s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family.
