GONGLOFF Katheleen Joye (Diviney), 81, formely of Twin Rocks, passed away peacefully, December 6, 2013 at home.. Born May 14, 1932 in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy (McCullough) Diviney. Preceded in death by husband, Howard Gongloff; brothers, Richard (Mary Lou) Diviney, Howard James (Carol) Diviney, and Ronald (Marge) Diviney; sisters, Rose Marie (Chris) Croyle, Dorothy Jean (Fred) Meier, Carolyn (Frank) Skubik, Linda Lou Diviney, and Isabel Stout. Survived by children, Donna (Kenneth) Rhine, Homer City; Benjamin Lynn (Virginia) Altimus, Virginia; Dagmar (Dale) McCloskey, Homer City; David (Patricia) Altimus, Strongstown; Howard John (Janet) Gongloff, Northern Cambria; Bernard (Rose) Gongloff, Twin Rocks; Paul (Sherry) Gongloff, Tipton; Robbin (James) Melnyk, Ebensburg; and Bonnie (David) Rummel, Homer City; 23 grandchildren. 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Also survived by sister, Nancy (George) Clark, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She had served as past president and lifetime member of the Twin Rocks VFW Ladies Auxillary, and Nanty Glo Fire Hall Ladies Auxillary, past member of the board of directors Blacklick Valley Ambulance Foundation. She was also the former owner of Twin Rocks Pizza and was instrumental in creating the Twin Rocks Halloween Parade. In recent years, Katheleen attended the Luciousboro Wesleyan Methodist Church. She loved playing Bingo, Auctions, and spending time with her family and cat Alfie. However you personally knew her, Penny , Sis , Katheleen , Aunt K was dedicated to family, friends, and her community. A family viewing will be held 6-8pm Sunday and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, the Rev. Robert Thornton, officiating. Interment, UB Cemetery, Belsano.
