MILLER – Rebecca “Reba”, 44 of Nanty Glo, passed away March 31, 2018 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born October 31, 1973 in Johnstown, daughter of late Ollie John “OJ” and Dolores (Wachs) Miller. Survived by brother: Rodney (Traci) Miller and their children Sydney, Travis and Kaycie Miller; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rebecca was a member of the Laurel Mountain Bible Church, where she had been active on the Praise Team. She had formerly been employed as a billing clerk for the Sargents Personnel Agency in Johnstown. Reba was also involved in the 4-H Equestrian Riding Team Competitions, the Silver Shoe Rodeo, Clyde Saddle Club, Central PA Horseman’s Association and the Cambria County Fair. Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Geno Bartoletti, officiating. Interment at Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Reba’s church.
