MULATO – Mary, 88, of Nanty Glo, went to be with the Lord July 2, 2017 at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. Born Jan. 3, 1929 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Louis and Julia (Husiak) Deskevich. Preceded in death by husband, William; brothers, John, Michael, Peter, Steven, Alex, infant brother, Paul; and sister, Anna Sedilko. Survived by daughter, Mary K. (Jim) Pelipesky; granddaughter, Amanda (Michael) Manges; great granddaughter, Carrie Manges. Sister of Helen (Francis) Peduzzi; Rose (Joe) Funyak; Joe Deskevich; Andy (Linda) Deskevich; Paul (Gloria) Deskevich; Ted (Joann) Deskevich; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Nanty Glo, where she was a member of the choir. Mary was an avid bingo player. She enjoyed making everyone happy and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Very Rev. George Hnatko, officiating. Entombment, Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Holy Ascension Church or to the Activities Fund at Rebekah Manor.
