CASPER-BLASHKIW - Patricia Ann Patti , 65, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Blashkiw Jr. and her father, Theodore Casper. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lisa (Larry) Freeman, Scott (Nikki) Hemminger, and Heather Hemminger; grandchildren, Brianna, Alexas, Audryana, Logan, Mitchell, Cohen, and Brooklyn; mother, Dorothy Casper; brothers and sisters, Charles Casper, Michael Casper, Joseph (Karen) Casper, JoAnn (Larry) Hoskins, and Natalie Hamaty; and many nieces and nephews. Former member of St. Mary s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at noon on Saturday at St. Mary s Church, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal to follow at Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
