KOONTZ - Helen C., 89, of Nanty Glo, passed away July 6, 2017 at St. Anne Home, Greensburg. Born March 7, 1928 in Nanty Glo. Preceded in death by husband, Charles H. "Ted" Koontz. Survived by children, Susan (Steven) Mills; Lynn (Paul) Colson; Charles Koontz; and Alix (Glenn) Rolph. Grandchildren, Jacob, Jennifer (Jeremy), Laura (Steven), Charles, Alexander, Nickolas, Kristina; and best friend, Sami. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, the Very Rev. Leonard Voytek, officiating. Committal, St. Mary's Cemetery, Nanty Glo. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to St. Anne Home, Development Office, 685 Angela Dr., Greensburg, PA 15601 or online at www.stannehome.org
