WYSE – Margaret A. “Margie” (Ellis), 62, of Mundys Corner, passed into heavenly glory on December 12, 2017 at Good Samaritan Palliative Care. Born June 6, 1955 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert W. and Shirley A. (Haymaker) Ellis, Sr. Preceded in death by husband, George Dale Wyse; brother, Thomas Ellis, and sister-in-law Patsy Ellis. Survived by son, Christopher, at home. Also survived by brothers and sisters: Laura (Bob) Chirdon; Bob (Veronica) Ellis; Jim (Elaine) Ellis; Paul (Jackie) Ellis; Sarah (Darrin) Reese; Don Ellis; Cathy (Kevin) Ullrich; and Shirley (Dave) Sebulsky; sister-in-law J. Kristyne (John) Antonini; and numerous nieces and nephews. Margie was the former owner/operator of Wyse Cemetery Memorials, where she had served as sales manager for the new ownership. Margie served as a Notary Public and did income tax and title work for many years in the area. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mundy’s Corner. She enjoyed bowling in the Ebensburg Bowling Leagues, and camping at L&M near Yellow Creek. Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m., Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, were a funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., the Rev. Kevin McNamara, officiating. Interment at Ogden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margie’s memory may be made to the Interfaith Community Food Pantries of Nanty Glo and Jackson Twp.
