DaSILVA – Nancy M. (Kimack), 84, Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg, passed away Jan. 14, 2013. Born Sept. 19, 1928, in Smithmill, Pa., daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Rusyn) Kimack. Preceded in death by husband, John DaSilva; and brothers, John, James and Michael Kimack. Survived by sister, Elizabeth (Mello) Mash, Vintondale; brother, William Kimack, Euclid, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was a former resident of Quarry Street in Gallitzin for more than 30 years, and for the past six years has resided at Cambria Care Center. Member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church, Nanty Glo, and former member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where Parastas will be sung at 7 p.m. that evening. Brief service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, the Rev. Wesley Mash, nephew of the deceased, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.
