BYICH - Ryan Scott, 21, of Nanty Glo, died October 21, 2006 at home. Born November 21, 1984 in Johnstown.. Preceeded in death by maternal grandfather James Silko, maternal great grandfather John Telesko and paternal great grandparents Charlotte and Joseph Barr.
Survived by parents, Peter Byich (Bridget Fox) and Lisa Byich (John Waldron), brothers Cory and wife Lindsey Byich, Pete Joseph and sister Megan Byich. paternal grandparents Pete and JoAnne Byich; maternal grandmother Nancy Silko, maternal great grandmother Mary Telesko.
Also survived by aunts and uncles Tim and Maria Byich, Kevin and Ann Byich, Jeff and Pam Schilling, Karen Novitsky, James Silko, Thomas and Carrie Silko; and his best friend Joe Shandor. Member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, Nanty Glo Vol. Fire Dept., Social member of Nanty Glo VFW. Ryan enjoyed hunting & fishing and playing football with his brothers.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday and 2-4 & 7-9pm Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 11 am on Thursday at St. Mary's Church, Fr. David S. Peles, celebrant. Committal at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Ryan's memory may be made to his family.
