Obituary of Stella M. Kuhar

KUHAR - Stella M. (Abramovich), 84, of Vintondale, passed away Oct. 8, 2006, at home. Born June 12, 1922, in Dilltown, daughter of the late Eli and Clara (Kanich) Abramovich. Preceded in death by husband, John; an infant son; grandson, Michael John Kuhar; granddaughter, Melissa Sheesley; and sister, Anne. Survived by children, John, and wife, Rosemarie (Szekeresh); James, at home; Thomas, and wife, Cheryl (Sheesley); Barbara, and husband, Gary Sheesley; Stephen, and companion, Peggy Wolinski, all of Vintondale; and Kathleen, and husband, Michael Rose, of Homer City; grandchildren, Johnny, Claudine, Carol, Paul, Gary, Brian, John, Michelle and Clint; great-grandchildren, Nichole, Eric, Allie, Brandon, Gary, Alex, Kaylee, Daniel, Joshua, John Caleb, Jordan, John, Dakoda, Sadie Ann, Mike, Sammi, Clinton, Austin and Isaiah. Also survived by brother, John, and wife, Anna Abramovich, of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews. Member of SS. Timothy & Mark Roman Catholic Chapel, Vintondale. An avid bingo player. Stella loved her entire family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Askew- Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Timothy -- Mark Chapel, Vintondale, the Rev. James H. Conrad, STL, celebrant. Committal at St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stella's memory may be made to her church.
