LONG – James B., 69, Ebensburg, died Nov. 12, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 26, 1940, in Baltimore, Md., son of Martin and Laura (Bearer) Long. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Phyllis; and sister, Caroline. Survived by son, Eric, and family; daughter, Carleen McGann, and family; special niece, Erin Meisel; special friend, Jane Becker; and his pet, Charcoal. Former owner of Long Hardware and Supply, Ebensburg. No public viewing or visitation at Jim's request. Memorial funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery, Northern Cambria. Funeral arrangements by Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg.
