TREXLER - Lottie M. “Mitzie”, 66 of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully at home of cancer while vacationing at Bethany Beach, Delaware on July 9th, 2012, surrounded by her daughter and grandbabies and family. Born May 31, 1946 in Spangler, daughter of Clyde William and Lydia Connseta (Reed) Trexler. Preceded in death by parents and her dear sister and best friend Doris Gergely. Survived by her only precious daughter Rhonda Lynn Trexler and grandbabies and pride and joys: granddaughter, Kayla Lynn Gilkey, Indiana, Pa.; grandson Calvin James Prazinko, and baby granddaughter Gianna Lydia Trexler, both of Ebensburg. Lottie is also survived by her nephews (Doris's boys): Eric Gergely (the Harrisburg baby) and his wife Heather (Shall), and their kids Eric Jr and Paige; Sean Gergely (the Vinco baby) and his wife Kristen (Stumph) and their kids Allyson, Joey, and Madyson; her sister and best friend Donna (Trexler) Winner, Dayton, Ohio and nieces: Sonia Winner O’Neil and husband Kevin and kids, and Pamela Winner Bockoven and kids, and beloved friend Paul Wyland, Ebensburg and numerous friends. Lottie was employed by Alpha Natural Resource/Amfire Mining as a weigh master and secretary for over 40 years. She devoted her life to helping others and loving life. She was a great and loving mom and “Nana” to her family. Lottie was successful in both her work and her family, she was a single mother and hard worker who gave her heart and soul to all and anything without hesitation. Her pride and joys were her daughter and her grand kids who gave her life, love and pride. Lottie enjoyed the beach, casinos and being with her friends and family, enjoying life and making the most of everything. She was a kind spirit and sweet lady who touched the lives of many and was loved by all. Her friends and family meant the world to her. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and love during this hard, yet cherished time. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held Friday evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus, celebrant. Committal at Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lottie’s family.
