BEDNAR - Lena Marie, 87, Bradford, formerly of Revloc, died July 3, 2005, in Bradford. Born Feb. 18, 1918, in Large, Pa., daughter of Paul and Cesira (Ecriline) Scardigli. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph J., in December of 1996; sister, Ann Koval; and brother, Charles. Survived by these children, Robert, Chatham Township, N.J.; Joseph, Conway, Pa.; and Patricia A. Smith, Bradford; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Brother of Dino Scardigli, Indiana, Pa. Lena lived in Bradford for the past seven years with her granddaughter, Paula M. Smith. Member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Bradford, and member of 50+ of St. Francis Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake services will be held Wednesday evening. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus. Committal, Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.
