COLL - John C., 56, Ebensburg, died Aug. 15, 2005, at Conemaugh Hospital. Born June 1, 1949, in Johnstown, son of Michael W. and Darle F. (Pebley) Coll. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, the former Pamela Trueman; son, David Sr., married to the former Casey Mottin, Ebensburg; and grandson, David Allen Jr. Also survived by numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. John enjoyed being with and playing with his grandson and having a Dr. Pepper. Also his faithful companions, Sophie, Shultz and Ceasar. Retired from Beth Energy Mine 33, Ebensburg. John enjoyed watching and racing cars and watching the Johnstown Chiefs and going camping. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
