PRYCE - Nancy Davis, Jr., 69, of Edgewood, formerly of Ebensburg, died December 21, 2013. Born August 29, 1944. She was predeceased by her mother, Nancy Yarnall Davis Pryce, as well as her former husband of twenty years, Larry Rhoades, and is survived by their son John, her father, John David (Mercedes) Pryce, and her sisters, Christine (Edward) Webler, her twin, and Priscilla (Robert) Cox. Nancy lived her life in Ebensburg and Edgewood, Pennsylvania. She completed her bachelor's degree at Penn State and her Master's at the University of Pittsburgh. She worked as a juvenile probation officer in Pittsburgh until the birth of her son. Along with being a full-time mother, she became an active volunteer in her community, most especially the Edgewood Garden Club, where she served several terms as president. Her greatest joy was her family. She was beloved by her entire family and will be greatly missed. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday at John A. Freyvogel Sons Funeral Home, Inc., Pittsburgh. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Ebensburg United Church of Christ, Billy Plummer, officiating. Interment to follow at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. Remembrances can be made to the Edgewood Garden Club, c/o Edgewood Borough Building, 1 Race St, Edgewood, PA 15218 or Salem Reunion Association, c/o 3030 Wiggins St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
