RADEBACH - John C., 83, of Ebensburg, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Maple Winds Care Center of Portage. Born December 2, 1930 in Revloc, son of the late John Henry and Mary (Urban) Radebach. Preceded in death by brothers Ted and Jim Tex Radebach. Survived by wife, the former Sally Johnson, to whom he was married 61 years and these children: Barry, at home; Cindy (Brent) Lantzy, Portage; Kevin, of Colver; and Keith Radebach of Nanty Glo. Also survived by grandchildren: Kristi (Blake) Lantzy-Cecchine; Brent Andrew and Jonathan Lantzy; Melissa Luther; Nathan, Aleshia, Brandon, and Jack Allen Radebach; and great-granddaughter Lillian Cecchine; Brother, Bill (Ann) Radebach, and sisters Shirley Folckemer and Betty Long, all of Ebensburg. John was a Korean War Army veteran. He retired as a safety inspector for the former BethEnergy Mines. He was a member of the Ebensburg Post #4963 VFW. John enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He played league baseball in his youth and enjoyed attending the "old-timers" reunions. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, Pastor Drew Walther, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Singer Hill Brethren Church.
