DIVIDO - Euphemia Cherrye "Fritz" (Schweinebraten), 81, of Nanty Glo, passed away July 31, 2006, at home, surrounded by her family. Born July 18, 1925, in Manifold, Pa., daughter of the late Howard and Jean (Allender) Schweinebraten. Preceded in death by husband, Louis J. "Fat" Divido; brother, George; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth "Billie" and Pete Scansaroli; and son-in-law, Ralph P. Myers. Survived by children, John Henry of Nanty Glo; Cherrye Lou "Susie," and fiance, Bill Snedden, of Nanty Glo; and Louis C., and wife, Mary (Kawtoski), of Johnstown; stepgrandchildren, Pam, Sheri and Monica; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Rosella Schweinebraten and Lois "Toots," and husband, Bill Dickert, both of Johnstown; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friend, Shirley Kovach of Nanty Glo; and her beloved pet, Shoe. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo. Private funeral service at the convenience of the family. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fritz's memory may be made to Windber Hospice.
