Obituary of Kiimberly A. Connell

CONNELL - Kimberly A. (Eger), 48, of Vintondale, formerly of Ashville,died Jan. 18, 2014. Born Dec. 9, 1965 in Cresson. Preceded in death by her father, Raymond "Bud" Eger. Survived by her mother, Sharon (William) White; stepmother, Ruth Eger; loving daughter, Stephanie; and Kim's devoted husband of 19 years, Tony. Sister of Mark (Jean) Eger; Dennis (Angel) Eger; Renee (William) Beck; Ryan (Karla) Myers; and Justin (Jess) Eger. Also survived by numerous nieces,nephews,aunts,uncles,cousins and friends. Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Former waitress for and manager of the former Valley Dairy Restaurant, Ebensburg. Cafeteria worker and "snack lady" for Blacklick Valley Elementary Center. Secretary for Vintondale Boro. Kim was a lover of bingo and her cats. An avid Pittsburgh sports fan as well as the Cleveland Indians Baseball. She was a loving mother and wife and was always willing to give a hug and hold a hand. Friends will be recieved from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc.,Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal at St. Marys Cemetery.
