STIFFLER - Lettie (Cassatt), 70, Vintondale, died Aug. 23, 2005, at Hospice of Lancaster County. Born Feb. 10, 1935, in Belsano, daughter of the late Harry and Lucy (Pope) Cassatt. Preceded in death by brother, Harry, and stepbrother, Mike. Survived by husband, Carl Sr., Vintondale; children, Carl Jr., Sayre; Sherry Gaunt, and husband, Richard, Sidman; Samuel, and wife, Judy, Beaverdale; Brenda Kline, Lancaster; and David, York; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; stepmother, Bette Cassatt, Mundys Corner; and stepsister, Cindy Laney, Strongstown. Friends will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, Deacon James Janosik, officiating. Interment to follow in Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown.
