BRANDT - Richard M. Rick , 61, of Green Avenue Towers, Altoona, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Born May 18, 1953, in Altoona, son of the late Cyril E. and Frances (Livingston) Brandt. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeffrey A. Brandt. Survived by son, Joshua Ryan Brandt of California. Also survived by five siblings: Patty (Alvin) Gentsch, Altoona; Diane Brandt, Altoona; Mary (Duane) Billotte, Johnstown; Vicki (Ken) Snively, Altoona; William Brandt (Maryann), Altoona; and several nieces and nephews. Rick attended Altoona Area High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was formerly employed by Blair Sign Company. There will be no public viewing. Private funeral services at the convenience of the family, followed by interment at Alto~Reste Memorial Park.
