ADAMS Bonita (Rose), 84, of Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg and formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away December 7, 2014 at the Center. Born December 18, 1929 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Harold T. and Ethel (Whitesell) Rose. Preceded in death by husband Clayton R. Adams, and brother Harold T. Rose, Jr. Survived by children: Gregory L., Ebensburg; Kandace D., of Charleston, SC; and Gavin V., in Nanty Glo. Also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Lillian Neal, Chickoree; and favorite niece Shirley Dyson. Bonita had been a legal secretary for many years, having worked for the former Schettig & Swope and McKenrick & McKenrick Law Firms. She had also enjoyed acting in shows presented by the Cresson Lake Playhouse. At her request, there will be no viewing. Interment at the family s convenience at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
