Obituary of Verlin D. Millage

MILLAGE Verlin D. Bud , 86, of Ebensburg, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on April 12, 2015, after complications of pneumonia at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 26, 1928 in Georgetown, IL., son of the late Orly Virgil and Elizabeth (Smith) Millage. Preceded in death by infant son, Loren Dale, great granddaughter, Katlyn Elizabeth, sister, Louise Riddell, and brothers, Kenny and Harold. Survived by children, Marcia (Bill) Thornton, Mineral Point; Beverly (Mike) Ford, Phoenix, AZ.; Peggy (Jim) Oakey, Phoenix, AZ.; and Kelli (Wade) Armentrout, South Bend, IN.; 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by a brother and three sisters; as well as 2 grand cats, Buddy and Pooh. Member of Windber Church of the Nazarene. Bud enjoyed playing bingo, puzzles, RV-ing and old cars and was always a friend to all. Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6 p.m., Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, Pastor John Buchko, officiating. Interment at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Illinios.
