ROSE Duard T., 85, Ebensburg, died April 12, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 27, 1929, in Revloc, son of John Earl and Catherine (Sherman) Rose. Preceded in death by parents, one sister and five brothers. Survived by wife of 65 years, Lucia Lucy Rose; and children, Denise (Jim) Swope, Deborah (Gary) Scott, Michele (Jim) Fedorka and Natalie (Jim) Miller; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Lola Leap, Lilly. Retired from Bethlehem Mine, with 41 years of service. Friends received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor David Lockard. Entombment, Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sisters of St. Ann or Holy Name School Angel Fund in Duard s memory.
