BRADLEY Michael B., 86, Cresson, died April 22, 2015, at home. Born April 24, 1928, in Cresson, son of the late Ira Sky and Marie (Dunmyer) Bradley. Preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, Ira and William; sister, Helen Williams; and infant granddaughter, Maria. Survived by wife of 64 years, Iva (McDermott); children, Gary (Kathy), Ken (Phyllis) and Susan (Bernard) Bettwy, all of Cresson; sister, Agnes Daugherty, Cresson; brother, Jerome (Clara), Cresson; and grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), Ebensburg; James (Stacy), Cresson; Steve, Cresson; Denise (Christopher) Ness, Westchester; Christopher Bettwy, Baltimore; and Angela Bettwy, New York City; also numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mick was the owner and operator of Bradley and Sons in Cresson for nearly 70 years. He was a proud member of St. Aloysius Parish, Cresson; Cresson Chamber of Commerce; and loyal volunteer for Cresson Heritage Days, receiving the 2001 Volunteer of the Year award. He enjoyed gardening, baking bread and researching his family tree. Mick was always quick with a new joke. Family and friends received from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where Legion of Mary will recite the rosary at 4 p.m., followed by vigil for the deceased. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Church, the Very Rev. Father John D. Byrnes. Committal, church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Veterans Park and All Saints Catholic School, both of Cresson.
