Obituary of Dale R. Eberhart

EBERHART Dale R., 52, Cresson, died April 22, 2015, at UPMC Altoona. Born April 28, 1962, in Altoona, son of William F. and Gloria (Tobin) Eberhart. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Cresson; brothers and sisters, Air Force Col. retired Jeffrey (Joreen Novak), Tyrone; Army Lt. Col. retired Scott (Mickie Beichner), Cresson; Gary (Carol Murray), Cresson; Karen Aurandt (Charles Orrison), Cresson; Marcie Lewis (Todd), Tyrone; and Kristen Pearson (Bryan), Tyrone; also numerous nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Vinco High School and enjoyed going to all the reunions. Employed at Association of the Blind and Handicapped, Ebensburg, for 30 years. Dale was a real people person, who enjoyed being with his family and talking to everyone. Family and friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where Legion of Mary will recite the rosary at 3 p.m., followed by vigil for the deceased. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Church, the Very Rev. Father John D. Byrnes. Entombment, St. Francis Xavier Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Hand Rescue Mission, Lilly.
