DUMM Hilda K. (Kline), 87, of Ebensburg, passed away suddenly May 18th, 2015 at home. Born July 9, 1927 in Hastings, daughter of the late Isadore and Zita (Peters) Kline. Preceded in death by son-in-law Steven Faish, grandson Bryan Faish, sister Mary Louise Parrish, and brother Rev. Fr. Omer Kline, O.S.B.. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald G. Dumm, and devoted daughters: Janice (Russell) Weakland, Whitmire, South Carolina; Adele Faish and fiancé Larry Watson; Maxine (Mike) Lashley, all of Ebensburg, Donna Burk, Smithsburg, Maryland and her grandchildren: Andrew Weakland, Craig, Derek, & Corey Faish, Marissa Lashley, Casie, Corinne, & Valerie Burk, and great grandson Christopher. Hilda was a member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, where she had been active on many church committees including the Festival and Church Hall committees. She enjoyed a life membership in the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and had been a member of the Ladies of the Moose in Ebensburg. She was a very talented seamstress and her specialties included making triple plait braided rugs, patchwork quilts, baby clothes and outfits for her girl s Barbie dolls when they were young. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held. A C.D.A. Rosary will also be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Monsignor David Lockard, celebrant. Committal at Holy Name Cemetery.
