Obituary of Jane Ann Hoover

HOOVER Jane Ann (Meckley) 94, of Timonium, Maryland and formerly of Ebensburg, passed away November 21, 2015 at Stella Maris Nursing Center, Maryland. Born September 1, 1921 in Tyrone, daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Priscilla (Daly) Meckley Clark. Preceded in death by her husband James C. Hoover, who passed away October 9, 2004 after 63 years of marriage. Survived by daughter, Patricia Heilman, of Timonium, Maryland; two grandchildren: Kevin Heilman and Jane Ann (Heilman) Neiswender and five great-grandchildren. Jane Ann was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Texas, Maryland as well as a former member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church in Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held Monday afternoon. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Holy Name Church, Rev. Monsignor David Lockard, celebrant. Entombment at Holy Name Mausoleum.
