Obituary of John Enos Silbaugh

SILBAUGH – John Enos, 75, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully June 10, 2017 at Cambria Care Center in Ebensburg. Born February 23, 1942 in Blacklick Twp., son of the late Ronald and Mildred (Enos) Silbaugh. Preceded in death by sister, Patricia Herdman and brothers, Richard and Walter Silbaugh. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, the former Linda Watson; children, Susan L. (fiancée, Pete Tasevski) Hersh and John E. Silbaugh II; grandsons, John E. Silbaugh III and Dillan D. Silbaugh; sister, Jane Soyka; brother, Ronald Silbaugh; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more, much loved, family members. John was an active member of the Ebensburg United Methodist Church and a member of Gideons International, where he served, for a time, as President of the Cambria North Camp. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather, brother and uncle and will be remembered for his smiling face and the kind, caring person that he was. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
