Obituary of Robert J. Richardson

Richardson - Robert J., 58, of W. Ogle Street, Ebensburg, died November 5, 2005 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born September 21, 1947 in Moscreek, son of the late Kenneth, Sr. and Annabelle (Graham) Richardson. Survived by wife, the former Penny Snedden, to whom he was married 35 years, and sons: Robbie, and wife Nikki; and Tony, all of Ebensburg, Chad, and wife Jesse, Mundys Corner, and precious granddaughter, Taylor Richardson. Also survived by sisters: Goldie and husband John Duperock, Fredericksburg, Virginia; Lucille, Summerhill; Donna and husband Frank Whitof, Lewisberry; and brothers: Ken and wife Sandra, Mesa, Arizona; James, and wife Barbara, Beaverdale; Edward, and wife Jeanette, Sidman; and Ted, and wife Kay, of Summerhill; and brother-in-law Glenn and wife Denise Shay and children. A US Army veteran having served in Vietnam. Bob had been employed at BethEnergy Mine #33 and Laurel Crest Manor, both of Ebensburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Cresson United Methodist Church, the Rev. Phyllis Gramling, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery, Military graveside rites by local veterans organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to his family.
