SHARBAUGH – M. Eileen (Lantzy), 97, of Ebensburg, passed away Feb. 11, 2018. Born Sept. 5, 1920 in Spangler, daughter of the late Augustine and Mary Jane (Farabaugh) Lantzy. Preceded in death by husband, Fred H. Sharbaugh; brother, Mark Lantzy; and an infant brother. Survived by daughter, Diana M. Sharbaugh; brothers, Alfred (Jean) Lantzy and Bede Lantzy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg; Catholic Daughters of the Americas; Holy Name Nocturnal Adoration Society; Member of Holy Name School Grandmothers Lunch Program; and Ebensburg Senior Citizens. Retired teller from the former US Bank, Carrolltown. Friends will be received from 4:30 -6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, officiating. Interment St Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen’s memory may be made by way of masses to Holy Name Church or to the Holy Name School Angel Fund.
