STARVIS - Joyce Louise (Wilson), 76, of Nanty Glo, formerly of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away March 30, 2018. Born May 18, 1941 in Ebensburg, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Long) Wilson. Preceded in death by sisters, Lois Wilson, Doris Ebbs, and Ruth Oliver. Survived by children, Mark Starvis and Lisa Starvis. Also survived by sisters, Joann Bailey and Sarah Murphy; and brother, Joseph Wilson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Joyce enjoyed painting, photography, drawing and dancing. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Kevin McNamara, officiating. Interment, Ogden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3328 William Penn Ave., Johnstown, PA 15909.
