Obituary of Gertrude Graham

GRAHAM – Gertrude (Hagens), 92, formerly of Colver, passed away peacefully april 24, 2018 at Cambria Care Center. Born June 26, 1925 in Colver, daughter of the late Clyde and Margaret (Makin) Hagens. Preceded in death by grandsons, David Graham & George Bango; sisters: Grace Holton and Dorothy Barefoot; and brothers: Walter, Fred, Floyd, Eugene, & Bernard Hagens. Survived by children: William S. “Bill” (Rose) Graham, Mechanicsburg; David (Kim) Graham, Pittsburgh; Barb (David) George, Colver; Denise Wilson, Bedford; and Douglas (Mary Ellen) Graham, Pittsburgh; and 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Nancy Bumford, Colver; and adopted half-sister, Randy Jones, of California. Gertrude retired in 1987 from the Ebensburg Center (State School). She was a member of the Lakeside Community Church and the Ebensburg Senior Citizens. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday at the Lakeside Community Church, Pastor Rob Osborn & Rev. Joseph Shawley, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Lakeside Community Church or to the Colver Vol. Fire Company.
