STRAYER - Don Kenneth, 80, of Jackson Twp, formerly of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully June 22, 2018 at home. Born March 4, 1938 in White Twp., Cambria County, son of the late Milton W. and Madeline (Morrow) Strayer. Survived by wife of 31 years, Ramona Johnson Strayer, and children: Scott (Ruth) Strayer, Ebensburg; Terry Strayer, Ocala, Florida; and Lori (Jeffrey) Buynack, of Ebensburg. Also grandchildren: Scott Jr. & Michael Strayer; Kevin, Lauren & Brandon Buynack; and great-grandchildren: Seth & Janelle Strayer. Don had been the owner/operator of the former Strayer Flower Shop in Ebensburg; later working as a Sales Representative and Distributor for the Coleman Camping Supply Company. Don was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed Nascar, following the Steelers & Penguins, and the great outdoors. He was also a member of the Ebensburg United Methodist Church where he served as an usher. At his request there will be no viewing. Private graveside funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Beaver Valley Cemetery, White Twp, Cambria County. Arrangements are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
