Obituary of Glendora Mae Vizzini

VIZZINI - Glendora Mae “Glenny”, 92 of Ebensburg, passed away July 19, 2018 at Rebekah Manor. Born April 17, 1926 in Revloc, daughter of the late Gilbert and Emma (Bishop) Waterhouse. Last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Vizzini and brothers: Edward, Lawrence, Lemoyne and Donald Waterhouse. Survived by children: Charles Jr. (Helen) Vizzini, Ebensburg; Garry (Nancy) Vizzini, Suwanee, Georgia; James (Denise) Vizzini, Collegeville, Pa.; and Darlene (Kelley) Vizzini, Kittanning, and 13 grandchildren. Glenny was a member of the VFW Post 4963 Ladies Auxiliary, and had worked a time at the Ebensburg 5 & 10 and Penn Traffic. A resident of Rebekah Manor for the last nine years, she loved to attended Bingo and enjoyed visits from family and friends. The family wishes to extend thanks to the staff at Rebekah Manor, Dr. Vijay Malhotra, and Windber Hospice for their compassionate care to Glenny. Friends will be received from 4 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, the Rev. Robert Osborne, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glendora’s memory may be made to the Dorothy Day Outreach Center, P.O. Box 600, Loretto, Pa. 15940
