COBAUGH (TOBIAS) – April Colleen, 41, of Twin Rocks, went to be with the Lord Aug. 26, 2018, at home. Born Dec. 10, 1976 in Indiana, Pa. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Eugene Peach. Survived by maternal grandmother, Catherine (Rummel) Clawson; mother, Susan E. Conzo and step father, Bruce; and father, William Lloyd; Also survived by children, Destiny Payne; Myra and LeAndre Bush; granddaughter, Serenity Payne; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; and special friend, Frannie Pletcher. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. April had attended Blacklick Valley High School and graduated from Virginia AmeriCorps. She was a former volunteer with The Salvation Army and Coal Country Youth Center. She had worked in communications as a dispatcher. April was a good hearted caring person who took many people into her home and helped them out with food and shelter. She was an excellent mother and put her children first at all times. April battled bravely through colon cancer and never complained or questioned, why me? She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to her mother, Susan, for April’s children.
