DeLATTRE – Clement L. “Joe”, 85, of Ebensburg, passed away Jan. 26, 2019. Born June 28, 1933 in Spangler, son of the late Clement G. and Mary Marie (Rambeau) DeLattre. Preceded in death by grandson, David Michael “Goober” DeLattre. Survived by wife Anna, of 63 years; and children, Clement (Kathy) DeLattre; Debra (Daniel) Adams; Marcia (Paul) Strenko; and David (Cathy) DeLattre. Also survived by grandchildren, Joe (Sarah) Adams; Clement DeLattre; Kayla (Todd) Wilson; Jessica (Cory) Harshberger; Curtis DeLattre; Danielle (Rick) Gerlach; Paul (Sarah) Strenko; and Alex DeLattre. Great Grandchildren, Wyatt Harshberger; Owen Harshberger; Cadence Wilson; Miles Wilson; Ryker Harshberger; Cleo Adams; Waylon DeLattre; Cole Wilson; and Johnny Gerlach. Brother of Gloria Kinsella; Dwight (Sheila) DeLattre; and Richard (Linda) DeLattre; and numerous nieces and nephews. Army veteran having served in the Korean War. Retired mechanic from Bethlehem Mine 33. Joe enjoyed square dancing with his wife and their friends; and attending his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and his dogs. Joe will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, officiating. Entombment, Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society.
