Obituary of Jane C. Kmett - Pisula

Pisula-Kmett - Jane C., 58, of Ebensburg, died December 4, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center, Main Campus. Born April 12, 1947 in Spangler, daughter of Cecil E. and Orlena M. (Eckenrode) Springer. Preceded in death by mother, first husband Edward Kmett, and infant daughter Mary Ann Kmett. Survived by father, Ebensburg; husband, Theodore Pisula, to whom she was married 8 years; step-son Edward Kmett, Jr., San Clemente, California; step-grandchildren Alexia, Kayla, and Erich Kmett, and brothers: Kenneth (Jeanne) Springer, Ellicott City., Maryland; and Ronald (Louise) Springer, of Ebensburg. Also nieces and nephews: Amy Miller, Jonathan Springer, Suzanne Poteet, Scott, Brian, and Kellie Springer. Member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church. Retired, she had been employed as a secretary in the Prothonatary's Office of Cambria County for many years. She was a member of the Central Cambria Lions Club and the Democratic Women. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Askew-Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held Tuesday evening. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. Arnold L. Gaus, celebrant. Committal at Holy Name Cemetery.
