NOVAK - Robert D., 87, passed away March 24, 2019. Born November 27, 1931 in Stopville, son of the late William and Pauline (Klimmick) Novak. Preceded in death by step father, Andrew Racosky; son, Robert Brian; granddaughter, Shaina Long; brothers, William, Charles, Henry, Raymond, Elmer, George, and Edward; sisters, Florence, Elizabeth, Dorothy, and Shirley. Survived by wife, Gail (Gittings) Novak; daughters, Renee (Janelle) Ebert; and Leslie (Tim) Frank. Grandchildren, Tyler, Allie, Michael, and Christopher. Also survived by brother, Leonard; sister-in-law, Lena (DeYulis) Novak; and numerous nieces and nephews. US Navy veteran. Life member of Ebensburg VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; and was an avid bowler. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Ebensburg VFW on Saturday at 1p.m. to celebrate Bob’s, “B.N.” / “Big Whiskey’s” life. Arrangements in care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
